Inclusive education

We take pride in our commitment to an inclusive education and prioritise the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they participate in mainstream lessons alongside their peers. This approach allows them to benefit from the expertise of our teachers and engage with their peers. Our dedicated staff regularly receive ongoing professional development to enhance their ability to support students with additional needs. By adhering to the DfE SEND code of practice, we aim to provide excellent teaching for all and effective support for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Our Aims

  • To identify and address the internal and external barriers a pupil might face and support them in accessing the curriculum.
  • To identify and monitor pupil’s individual barriers from the earliest possible stage so that appropriate provision can be made and their attainment raised.
  • To provide a safe and nurturing SEND Hub Space to facilitate the learning of our most vulnerable pupils.

If you think your child may have SEND, please speak to the class teacher in the first instance.
